1,000 musicians play the Smashing Pumpkins’ “Bullet with Butterfly Wings”

The Rockin’ 1000, a project that organizes mass performance events, is at it again. What began in Cesena, Italy, in 2015 as a way to attract the Foo Fighters attention, the group (made up of producers, filmmakers, communication experts, sound engineers, and music obsessives) has continued to bring together a thousand musicians “to play together the songs that made the glorious history of rock.”

The latest gathering took place at Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano, Madrid. The Smashing Pumpkins must be thrilled with this version of “Bulllet with Butterfly Wings.” (Via Sean)
