30 Stars Who Have Had Their Music Banned by the BBC

The Beeb has a reputation of being rather timid when it comes to certain types of songs.  Heaven FORBID that they play any track that could possibly upset any of Her Majesty’s subjects.

The Telegraph has put together this list of 30 music stars that have for one reason or other run afoul of the BBC’s sensitive sensibilities.

Just to give you an idea what what we’re dealing with, this track by George Formby was banned for being “smutty.” Seriously.
