A band featuring lead vocals by Bono’s son just released a new single

Elijah Hewson, son of some guy named Bono, has been playing in a Dublin-based band called Inhaler since 2012.

A debut single called “I Want You” was quietly released last year back with a demo of a song entitled “Is She My Girl?”, both of which can found on iTunes.

Yesterday (March 20), the four-piece released another single. Let’s see if the 19-year-old lead singer and rhythm guitarist sounds any more like his dad. [SPOILER: He does.]

  • Wow, I had goosebumps when I heard his voice. So much like the old man it’s crazy. I hope it doesn’t affect his career in a negative way. You see the negative comments on Greta Van Fleet because they sound too much like another band. Best of luck to the boys either way!

  • I think the old man would be proud. Would be hard not to be compared to his Dad either way. Has a U2ish vibe-but not bad U2, and other things as well.
