A Christmas miracle? Is Noel Gallagher hinting about reconciling with Liam?

Ever since Oasis blew up before that show in Paris in 2009, people have wondered and prayed about some kind of reunion. But given the ongoing and unabated animosity between Noel and Liam, the chances of that actually happening is approximately equal to Betelgeuse going supernova in our lifetime.

Then again, Betelgeuse is behaving…weird these days. And so is Noel.

Here’s a quote from an interview in The Sunday Times: “Our family has never been close. I don’t know one person, one single person, in my life who is living in the perfect family. Not one.”

Fine. But then he added this: “Reconciliation is a good thing.”

What?

If there’s one thing that will get the brothers back together, it’s for the sake their mother Peggy. The boys love their mum and to have her go before they bury the hatchet…

A summer of what’s been happening between Noel and Liam in recent years can be found here.
