A Different Kind of Car Stereo

With research, development and interest in in-dash infotainment systems exploding, we’re going to see more new devices like this.

It’s the Parrot ASTEROID, a car stereo head unit powered by Android that ropes in what your smartphone can do via a dongle or Bluetooth.  And it interfaces with iPads, too.

    Wow Alan, amazing device that I've been looking for without knowing it for a long time. The problem I though Sirius / XM was going to solve but didn't. Thanks very much for this post.
