A “Drums for Parkinson’s” fundraiser. Here’s how you can help.

On Sunday August 28th, Kevin Farmer (Mountain Head, Grale, The Compound) will be putting his drumming stamina to the test as he plans to play drums for 12 hours straight to support a great cause. His dad has been living with Parkinson’s disease for about 17 years, so he found a way to combine his love of playing drums with a way to support a cause that means so much to him.

From 9 am-9 pm, Farmer will be drumming with a goal of raising $20,000 for Parkinson’s Canada that will go towards research, education, and support for Canadians living with Parkinson’s disease. The whole event will be live streaming on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch. If you donate $25 or more, you have a chance to win one of the many great prizes he will be giving away including swag from The Glorious Sons and Mountain Head, drum gear and lessons, gift cards, an acoustic guitar, and more. To donate and find out more, head over to www.drumsforparkinsons.com.
