A psychologist asserts that listening to metal is good for thinking and stress reduction

If you’re into metal, your reaction to that headline was probably “Duh. Of course.” If you’re not, let me explain.

According to Dr. Nicole Andreoli, Ph.D, a clinical psychologist and therapist based out of New York, listening to metal lessens stress, promotes critical thinking, and gives people a way to process anger. Her TikTok post on the subject has gone viral. She added her piece to an earlier video posted by a metal fan.
