A Radio DJ Is Suing Taylor Swift Because He Allegedly Grabbed Her Butt

First rule of interviewing stars: don’t touch them unless they touch you first. A handshake is okay–polite, even–but never initiate anything beyond that, especially if you’re a dude dealing with a woman. Weird things can happen–and it might not even be your fault.

Take the case of David Mueller, a former radio personality in Denver, has filed suit against Taylor Swift after it was alleged he “inappropriately touched” Ms Swift (read: grabbed her ass) at a pre-show backstage photo opp back in June 2013. Yep, the incident is more than two years old.

The suit, filed just this past week, says that he was falsely accused by one of Taylor’s bodyguards. Word got back to his bosses and he was fired from his radio gig two days later.

He denies doing anything wrong. Ms Swift’s security team say they have evidence. And besides, it wasn’t their decision to have Mueller fired.

Feel free to make any use of the word “cheeky” on your own time.
