A Shannon Hoon documentary comes out this week. Here’s a trailer.

Shannon Hoon remains a great tragic figure of the alt-rock 90s. Blind Melon showed such potential, but then Shannon died of a drug overdose in the back of a tour bus.

There’s finally a documentary on his life which uses material Hoon recorded himself on his video camera between 1990 and 1995, shooting material right up until the day he died. Talk about autobiographical, right?

The doc officially comes out tomorrow. Here’s a taste.
