Ahead of Oasis tickets going on sale tomorrow, ticket-buying bots are selling for $50

When tickets for the Oasis reunion show go on sale tomorrow at 8 am GMT, about 1.3 million will be available. If Ticketmaster’s systems can hold up, every one of those tickets will disappear in three minutes or less. The question is, how many of those tickets will be purchased by humans and how many will be snapped up by bots?

According to Digital Music News, anyone can purchase a concert ticket-buying bot online for US$50. They published this screenshot of one of them.

These bots still exist despite a myriad of anti-bot laws in both North America and the UK. Ticketmaster is constantly playing a game of Whack-A-Mole with bot technology, so while they’re prepared as possible for tomorrow’s onslaught, it will interesting to see how the war goes.
