Alice in Chains gets into the bourbon game

Alice in Chains has joined Metallica, Slipknot, The Pogues, and The Scorpions by getting into the whiskey game.

Alice in Chains bourbon, created in partnership with FEW Spirits of Illinois, is said to have a distinctive taste created by aging it for six months in old tequila barrels. The final result is 101 proof.

Distribution will be limited to just a few states (Illinois, Colorado, Washington, New York, and California) and will cost about US$75–if you can find a bottle.
