Amanda Palmer’s “Blurred Lines”/”Rape Me” mashup

Robin Thicke’s hit, “Blurred Lines” is back in the news again. When it was first released, critics decried the song’s lyrics as being more than a little rapey. And now with Emily Ratajkowski’s recent claim that she was groped by Thicke on the set of the video, those criticisms are even louder.

The fierce Amanda Palmer decided to make her own statement, mashing up “Blurred Lines” with Nirvana’s “Rape Me” with help from Reb Fountain. Here’s the result.
