AMC Working on a Billy Corgan Wrestling Show

Now that Breaking Bad is gone and that Mad Men is about to start its final season, AMC has to find its next hot new show. After all, the dead can’t keep walking forever, can they?

Variety reports on the projects AMC has in development. If you scroll down to “Unscripted Development,” you’ll read this:

“Untitled Billy Corgan Wrestling Project” Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan pulls back the curtains on the pro-wrestling world as he takes over creative direction for the independent wrestling company Resistance Pro. Produced by Left/Right, LLC; Executive Producers: Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman, Billy Corgan and Ghen Maynard.
