Amazon recently announced the Echo Loop, a smart ring that features Alexa functionality. Now we hear about a new Apple patent for “wearable electronic ring computing device” that interacts with iPhones or Mac laptops.

Digging deeper, Apple’s ring would feature a touchscreen(!!!), a microphone, onboard processor, a wireless transceiver and a bunch of different sensors. And yes, it would come with Siri.

What good would all this be? Motion and fitness tracking. The ability to “flick” pages on your phone or tablet. Maybe even writing motions in midair.
