And Now, a New Era in Distracted Driving with the Drum Steering Wheel

There’s not a person in the world who hasn’t drummed on the steering wheel to a great tune.  But let’s face it: the acoustic properties of even the finest tillers aren’t that great.

Enter the RITW (“Reinventing the Wheel”).  The $150 device fits around your your steering wheel, turning it into an electronic drum kit.  The sound is picked up by your FM radio and pumped through your existing stereo system.

It’s also Bluetooth capable, meaning it can interface with your smart phone.  And did I mention the optional drum karaoke tracks?

Anyone else have a bad feeling about this?  (Via Mashable)
