And the highest-earning entertainer of 2022 was…not Taylor Swift

Forbes likes to keep track how much people earn, especially celebrities. On its list of the highest-paid entertainers of 2022, there were a couple of surprises, the biggest (to some ) that Taylor Swift didn’t finish at number one. Actually, she didn’t even make the top five. She’s way down there at number nine.

Not surprising, really given that she didn’t tour last year. Just wait until the 2023 list. With her Eras tour coming up, she will soon crush the competition.

Here’s the list.

1. Genesis – $230M
2. Sting – $210M
3. Tyler Perry – $175M
4. Trey Parker & Matt Stone – $160M
5. James L. Brooks & Matt Groening – $105M
6. Brad Pitt – $100M
7. The Rolling Stones – $98M
8. James Cameron – $95M
9. Taylor Swift – $92M
10. Bad Bunny – $88M
