As the numbers for 2024 come in, we’re getting a clearer idea of how we spent the last twelve months. In this case (via Loudwire), we now know the most-streamed rock songs of the year. They totaled up the number of Spotify streams of the biggest rock records which came out during those 12 months.
- Add up all the songs from Falling Reverse’s Popular Monster album and you have more than a billion streams. Keep in mind, though that some of the songs on the album have been circulating online since 2019.
- In second spot was Linkin Park’s comeback album, From Zero, which was heard 831 million times.
- Just behind that was Post Human: NeX GEn with 823 million. It requires and another caveat: Some of the material on the album came out back in 2019.
