And the winner of the best Canadian music video of the year is…

The Prism Prize is an annual award given out to the best Canadian music video of the year. Just like Polaris, there are levels of voting by a panel of music industry boffins until a champion is named.

This year’s winner is “Damn Right” from Snotty Nose Rez Kids, directed by Sterling LaRose.

The grand prize involves a cheque for $20,000.

Dan Managan received a $5,000 cheque for the fan-voted audience choice award, His entry was the intense “Fire Escape.”
