Another Gallery of Concert Ticket Stubs

Like many music fans, Greg Watson keeps the stub from all the concerts he attends. Here are some of the more interesting stubs in his collection.

KISS — The opening acts were Bob Seger and Blue Oyster Cult.

Rolling Stones — Note the name of the promoter. The “Harvey” is actually Harvey Weinstein. He’d later get out of the concert racket to create Mirimax Pictures.

Smiths — Note the price: FIVE BUCKS!

Who — Another Harvey Weinstein production. Note the date: one day after the Cincinnati tragedy where 11 people were trampled to death.

I was at both The Rolling Stones and The Who shows. It was the first time that I saw The Stones, I will see them again in Las Vegas in October, and The Who. Very emotional speech by Roger at the Buffalo show. Both excellent shows.
