Another Story About the Resurrection of Cassettes

I’ll say it again: cassettes are an old, outdated technology that are completely impractical for 21st-century living. The only people who are nostalgic for them are those who weren’t around when they were around the first time.

And before we get too crazy about an apparent resurrection of cassettes, take note that less than 7,000 pre-recorded cassettes were sold across Canada in all of last year. Compare that to 12.5 million CDs.

Still, this meme keeps being propagated. (Via Tom)
