Another update on the Brass Against peeing incident

We’ll probably never know what prompted Brass Against frontperson Sophia Urista to drop her pants and urinate on a fan’s face during a set at the Welcome to Rockville festival last week (November 12) in Daytona Beach, Florida. Needless to say, the incident has sparked a lot of chatter.

Urista has now posted an apology.

Okay, fine. But this will inevitably go down as a career-defining (and maybe life-defining) incident.

Police are apparently looking at the incident, largely because it’s illegal in Florida to flagrantly display your junk in public.

Meanwhile, the NASCAR people have weighed in:

“Daytona International Speedway doesn’t condone the inappropriate actions that took place during Thursday’s Welcome to Rockville event. We are working with promoter Danny Wimmer Presents to address the issue. The band will not be included in future programming at NASCAR venues.”
