Anti-Trumper crashes into Trump store while listening to “Smells Like Teen Spirit” (with video!)

There’s a store in Easton, Massachusetts, that spent the weekend cleaning up after a car crashed into the shop. The store, called New England for Trump, specializes in selling pro-Trump merch.

Around 5:00 last Thursday (June 16), a 46-year-old named Sean Flaherty drove his Volkswagen Jetta through the front windows as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” blared from the studio. And yes, there’s video.

Flaherty allegedly said that “voices inside his head” told me to do this. Friends say that he had some kind of mental health episode and not a pathological hatred for Trump. Then again, he does have an anti-Trump sticker on the Jetta that included a quote from Voltaire: “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.” There are stickers from Nirvana, Sub Pop, and The Ramones on the car, too.\

More here including a bunch of pictures.

  • If you support Trump, you support racism. No exceptions.
