The App That Adjusts the Music for the Way You Hear

My ears are different from yours.  And yours are different from every other set of ears on the planet.  Maybe you’re more or less sensitive to certain frequencies, which could explain why you like/dislike certain headphones or ear buds.

This is where SoundFocus comes in.  It’s an iOS (for now) app that works with your music library and your favourite streaming music service to automatically adjust the music based on how you hear and what you can hear.

The first time you use it, the app gives you a hearing test.  From then on, all music played through that app will be adjusted accordingly for your ears.

The app is free, too.  The developers just got another round of funding which they hope will allow them to bring this kind of functionality to virtually any hardware device.

I gotta try this one out.  Find it here.  (Thanks to Jeff for the link to TechCrunch.)
