Arcade Fire Director Wins Prism Prize for “Afterlife” Video

Montreal’s Emily Kai Brock won the 2014 Prism Prize–an award handed out for music video-making–last night in Toronto.  She took home the $5,000 grand prize for this clip.

The Audience Choice winner went to Kheaven Lewandowski for “River” from The Belle Game.

Also of note was the honour given to writer/director Scott Cudmore and cinematographer/producer Michael Leblanc.  They were awarded the first-ever Arthur Lipsett Award which recognizes innovation in music video art.
