Are You an IT Professional Who Loves Music? This This Album: Music to Code By

Carl Franklin is a professional musician and software developer who is very particular about the kind of music he listens to whilst writing code. He came up with the idea of Music to Code By as a way to focus concentration on the tasks at hand. It features three tracks, each 25 minutes long so they conform to the Pomodoro Technique. (I had no idea what that was, but Wikipedia defines as a form of time management strategy.)

If you would like a sample, try this track which is called “Blue.” It’s skimpy, but you’ll get the idea. You can read about the album at It World and at Franklin’s website. (Via Tom)
