Are You Heading to the Hamilton Music Awards?

Normally I’d be at the Hamilton Music Awards, but I’m stuck in Asia. Too bad, too, because this sounds like a great panel:

The Ubiquitous World of Electronic Music

Once upon a time, “electronic” music meant Moog synthesizers. One hundred and thirty-nine years later(1876 brought us the first Electromechanical Oscillator!), “Electronic” music encapsulates Hip Hop, EDM, Trance, Chill, Drum & Bass, Industrial, Electronica– anything with a loop or a sample, sharp musicianship and an adept knowledge of software. Our electronic musicians featured in this panel will provide some “show & tell” for all to see and hear, and learn. Moderator: Jamie Tennant (CFMU)

Panelists: Jeremy GreenspanHachey the MouthPEACE, Brian Hogue (C0ndu1t), John P, ttwwrrss
