Arkells are collecting clothing donations on their current tour

If you’re heading to see Arkells at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto tomorrow night (February 16), think about bringing along some gently used clothing.

The band is encouraging fans to declutter their closets to benefit New Circles Community Services’ GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear) program. There will be clothing collection points at gates one and six. Volunteers will be standing by.

From Samaritanmag.com:

“‘We’re in the middle of our cross-Canada tour, and, this isn’t news, but it’s cold out there. Toronto in particular has been in a deep freeze and Arkells are thankful to partner with our friends at New Circles and Scotiabank Arena to collect and distribute warm clothes to our neighbours that need it the most,’ frontman Max Kerman said in a statement.

“‘Much love to the incredible staff at New Circles doing the heavy lifting year-round and thank you for your generosity,’ Kerman added on behalf of the Arkells.”

Good boys, those Arkells. Can you help them out?
