Arrest Warrant Out for Former Pearl Jam Drummer

Dave Abbruzzese from 1991 through to 1994, meaning he toured behind Ten and appeared on Vs, and Vitalogy. Then he was fired in August 1994, apparently because his personality just didn’t mesh with the other guys in the band. Since then he’s bounced from project to project.

One of those projects is allegedly manufacturing a controlled substance. There’s now a warrant out for his arrest in Texas.

The warrant dates back to September but hasn’t received much attention until now. There are two aspects to it: (a) possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams (punishable by a $4,000 fine and up to a year in jail); and (b) the manufacture of some kind of controlled substance. That’s the bad one. It could carry a penalty of five years in jail.
