Artificial Intelligence is now writing Beatles songs: Listen.
As discussions over the use of artificial intelligence in music continues–Is it a threat? A tool?–people continue to experiment with its possibilities. It was only a matter of time before someone resurrected The Beatles
YouTuber Dae Sims took some solo material by both John Lennon and Paul McCartney and used the software to reimagine them as Beatles songs.
Let’s start with this AI version of Lennon’s “Grow Old with Me” which appears on his posthumous album, Milk and Honey. The new recording sounds bigger with additional instrumentation and more vocal harmonies to make it sound as if George and Ringo were in the room with George Martin producing.
Here’s the original.
And here’s the AI version.
Dae Sim’s second project was a reimagining of “New,” the title track from Macca’s 2013 album. The original sounds like this.
In Dae Lims hands, there are more vocal harmonies that sure sounds like Lennon. Macca’s voice has been tweaked so he sounds younger.

Your article is totally misleading. AI didn’t write anything. The songs were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. AI was only used to replace the voices with Lennon and McCartney in addition to de-aging Paul’s voice. The orchestration on Grow Old with Me was composed by George Martin and recorded with live instruments. It was released on a John Lennon boxset in the 90s. Not sure how you came to your conclusions.
People seem to be willing to believe computers are doing something they are not. Also, to be honest these recordings don’t even sound that good. John barely sounds like John. A singing impersonator could do a better job of sounding like him.
People gonna complain about everything of course. No imagination. Ignore them.
Are you saying McCartney and Lennon did NOT write these songs. As Paul said when his kids laughed about beating him a Rock Band,”I wrote those songs.” Thus is the Beatles not crap ass country music.
Are you going to change your misleading title for your article? AI did not write these songs.
