Attention Foo Fighters Fans: Hear a Demo from Dave’s Ancient Band, Dain Bramage

Before the Foo Fighters and Nirvana, Dave was in Scream.  But there was also a succession of bands before Scream, one of which was known as Dain Bramage.

This was one of Dave’s many attempts to fit in with the DC hardcore scene of the middle 80s.  The group generated two cassettes’ worth of demos and one full LP entitled I Scream Not Coming Down on a label called Fartblossom Enterprises.

Needless to say, these cassettes and LPs were produced in limited numbers and have been extremely hard to find.  But that’s why we have the Internet, innit?

Props to Antiquiet for tracking down eight Dain Bramage songs. Be sure to give them a listen, especially the Grand Funk cover.
