Australia celebrates the most rock’n’roll of all haircuts: the mullet

There are many things about Australia that are different from us in the Northern Hemisphere. The inverted seasons. The plethora of poisonous animals. A strange addiction to Vegemite. And Mulletfest, an annual celebration of the most rock’n’roll of all haircuts.

The Laughing Squid documents the journey undertaken by Craig Gibson, a British photographer, who went all the way to Kurri Kurri, NSW, to document this year’s, er, competition.
