Australians tempted to get vaccinated with offer of free album

Australian vaccination rates are much too low so a label called Golden Robot Records plans to give away free albums to those with proof of jabs.

Called Rock the Vax, it’s “an initiative to unite music lovers and inspire the rock public of Australia to go and get vaccinated in exchange for a free album.” Fans have a choice of CD or vinyl with all material coming from the label’s back catalogue. The offer continues until the end of the month.

Artists include: Rose Tattoo, Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses), LA Guns, Jefferson Starship, Gilby Clarke (Guns N’ Roses), Horsehead, The Cherry Dolls, The Lockhearts, Steve Kilbey, David Campbell, MiSex, Toe to Toe, Groom Epoch, Kilby Kennedy, A New Revenge, Destinia, Hayley Jensen, Palace of the King, Reece Mastin, Glenn Shorrock sings The Little River Band and Nick Barker.

Sorry, but only Australians need apply. But wouldn’t this be a good idea in other territories?
