Axl Rose’s Minder Issues Book on What It Was Like to Look After Axl Rose

There are some really, really horrible jobs.  Janitor in a porno theatre. Someone who has to look after portable toilets. Receptionist at the Fukushima power plant.  But try to imagine being Axl Rose’s personal assistant.

That was Craig Duswalt’s job during the craziest Guns ‘N Roses years.  And among all the things he had to do (including help Axl kill moths with a rifle) was to make sure Axl got to the gig on time.  Creating cold fusion on a kitchen table would be easier.

Against all odds, Duswalt is still alive and coherent enough to write a book on his experiences.  The title pretty much says it all:

Duswalt is still alive and coherent enough to write a book on his experiences.  The title pretty much says it all: Welcome to My Jungle: An Unauthorized Account of How a Regular Guy Like Me Survived Years of Touring with Guns N’ Roses, Pet Wallabies, Crazed Groupies, … One of the Greatest Rock Bands of All Time.

Welcome to My Jungle - Craig Guswalt

The book will be out May 13.  Pre-order here. (Thanks to John for the link.)
