Balcony TV Toronto Celebrates Its 2nd Anniversary

It began with a simple concept:  invite an indie band to perform acoustically on the balcony of a small apartment. Since then–2006 in the UK–Balcony TV has expanded to twenty-five cities around the planet and has featured everyone from Mumford & Sons and the Buzzcocks to a someone you’ve never heard of yet but is destined to be your new favourite band.

The Toronto production of Balcony TV started up in late 2009 and is currently celebrating its second anniversary. If you’re not one of the 25 million people who have checked out some of these performances, you can start by going here.
