Bands Who Absolutely HATE Their Greatest Songs
Ask Radiohead what their least favourite song from their catalogue is and the response will inevitably be “Creep.” Kurt Cobain grew to hate “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and sometimes left it out of Nirvana’s set list. And the Beastie Boys were frankly embarrassed by “Fight For Your Right to Party.”
The Guardian has the reasons why these performers (and others) hate their most popular songs. There’s no Bowie on the list because his list of songs-that-I-hate-even-though-I-wrote-them is rather, er, substantial.
