Because so many U2 fans read this website, here’s some U2 news

There are plenty of people who track U2 rumours, Raven (a reader of this website who seems to be particularly dialed into things) being one. His latest spy report (okay, so it’s from Paris Match) contains the following:

  1. The French edition of the BONO Memoir is scheduled for release on NOVEMBER 2, 2022, and will be published by ÉDITION FAYARD with title Surrender: 40 songs. One story.
  2. A new studio album, their 15th, will be released in 2023. The title is still unknown.
  3. The new album will be followed by a tour.
  4. U2 will open the new MSG Sphere in Las Vegas and then embark on stadium tour around the globe.
  5. The band is planning to spend one week in each major city in order to reduce their carbon footprint (less travel)
  6. They are scheduled to play Croke Park in Dublin in May 2023 (although that rumour has been debunked by some; it’s apparently actually a booking by Muse).
  7. They will play in California at the new SOFI Stadium
  8. The tour will continue throughout 2023 and 2024

Any other rumours anyone wants to pass on?
