Before There Was Joy Division, There Was Warsaw. And Now There’s This Remaster Download

The New Order Archive–a website that apparently has the full blessing of the band–has just posted a remaster of the sessions Joy Division recorded for RCA in  May 1978.

These recordings were never officially released, although they’ve been bootlegged to death.  I have most editions of these bootlegs but never play them because they sound awful.

This remaster, however, is another animal all together.  Get the FLAC download here and then experience what songs like “Shadowplay” and “Transmission” sounded like in their earlier, pre-Unknown Pleasures incarnations.

Thans to Rach for showing us the way.
