Ben Stiller’s High School Rock Band Finally Gets a Release

Not being the biggest Ben Stiller fan, I had no idea that he was in a rock band when he was in high school. Ben was the drummer in Capital Punishment, which he describes as “ridiculously weird.” They recorded some songs, broke up and disappeared.

But now some of those songs are about to be reissued by a label called Captured Tracks this fall. Brooklyn Vegan has the whole story. Read it while you listen to this sample.
