The Best Connected Cars of 2014

I write quite a bit about connected car technology because along with loving cars, I’m also fascinated where this kind of on-the-go technology will lead us when it comes to choosing and consumer entertainment and information whilst behind the wheel.  That obviously includes music, but it also involves radio–in whatever form it takes in the coming years.

The Globe and Mail reports this morning that Connected World magazine recently named the six best connected cars.  The awards are broken down by segment:

Small:  Dodge Dart (Uses the Uconnect system from Chrysler)

Mid-size:  Infiniti Q50 (Infiniti InTouch)

Luxury:  BMW 5 Series (Connected Drive)

Ultra-Luxury:  Mercedes-Benz (mbrace2)

Green:  Telsa Model 6 (the whole damn thing, really)

Truck:  Ford F-150 (SYNC)

Interesting that they don’t include a sports segment.  Hmm.
