Martin Popoff, the Canadian music expert (especially on all things metal) has a new book featuring the oral history of hair metal. The genre’s story is told through quotes from Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, Guns ‘N Roses, KISS, Whitesnake, Ratt, Poison, Motley Crue and dozens of other dudes who looked a lot like ladies.

This, by the way, is his fortieth(!!!) book. It’ll be out August 15 and you can pre-order it here. And no, it doesn’t come with a can of hairspray, although that would have been cool.
