Big Event for Fans of The Band Friday Night

The Band remains one of Canada’s musical treasures, revered as one of the most influential outfits this country has ever produced.  From the 60s through to the mid-70s, they made music that still resonates today.

Tomorrow (Friday, November 25), I’m hosting an event in Kitchener, Ontario, at Bingeman’s called Celebrating the Band.  It’s a full evening featuring performances from The Sadies, Royal Wood and a host of others, including Chuck Leavell, the Rolling Stones’ keyboardist.

Proceeds from the evening will go towards mounting the production of a play called Manuel (about Band keyboardist Richard Manuel, of course) as well as the Canadian Mental Health Association.

To learn more about the evening including ticket packages and directions, go here.  It’s a great value for a great cause

Hope to see you there for the meet’n’greet!
