Billie Joe Armstrong recovers his beloved classic car in one piece

Over the weekend, we heard that Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong had suffered a loss. Someone had stolen his beloved 1962 Chevy II, a car that he’s owned for at least 30 years. There were no clues, so Billie put the word out on social media appealing for help.

It worked!

Cops say that they acted “on tips from the public” and found it parked in El Modena, which is part of the City of Orange. It had been abandoned. The only losses were two electric guitars and an amp that were in the car. They’re still missing.
