Billy Idol celebrated the 40th anniversary of Rebel Yell in a cool way

Back in 1984, Billy Idol was riding high with a series of hits across alt-rock, mainstream rock, and even top 40 radio. He was all over MTV, too. Those songs have aged quite well, too.

The Rebel Yell album got a 40th anniversary released back in April. To underscore the celebrations, Billy and guitarist Steve Stevens went to the 103rd floor of the Empire State Building to play the title track.
