Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stones” Gets a Music Video 48 Years Later

When Bob Dylan and his crew ripped through “Like a Rolling Stone” at Columbia Studios over two days in June 1965, he didn’t think much of it.  Besides, it was six minutes long, two to three times the length for a standard radio single back then.  Columbia wasn’t even going to release it.  Dylan apparently wasn’t bothered by that.

But the song was eventually released on July 20, 1965, and “Like a Rolling Stone” eventually became recognized as one of the greatest rock’n’roll songs of all time.

Forty-eight years later, the song finally has a music video–and it’s wonderfully interactive.
