Bono, The Edge, and Martin Garrix unveil their new football theme for the UEFA tournament

Had there not been a pandemic, Euro 2020 would have been held last summer. But with COVID vaccinations on the rise and with lessons learned about how to stage sporting events safely, the tournament will begin about 12 months late on June 11.

As is the habit with European football events, an official theme was commissioned. Bono and The Edge have teamed up with Martin Garrix to release “We Are the People.” This apparently took three years to write. The guitars are VERY U2.
