Bono’s Interview with a Creationist, Anti-Gay Christian Organization: How’d He Do?

Focus on the Family–a creationism-believin’, anti-gay, pro-corporal punishiment Christian organization–managed to land an interview with Bono.

This was, to say the least, an interesting choice on Bono’s part. And as someone who’s had a about a .500 batting average getting interviews with Bono, it was a big coup for FotF.

The big question amongst U2 fans is “How will Bono handle this?  Where will the questioning go?”

In retrospect, the answer should have been obvious:  “With diplomatic aplomb.”

Here’s another take on things from contributor Larry Lootsteen.
