I am glad to see the band LONDON GRAMMAR nominated for British Breakthrough Act for 2013. I had not heard of them till i saw their video on Alan’s web site. Having a very distinct voice for a lead singer ( Hannah Reid ) can’t hurt. To many new bands seem to fail because of their ordinary sounding vocals. Take London Grammar’s knock- out song “Wasting My Young Years” should have been a big hit – while Lorde’s so so song “Royals” gets a Grammy – there is no justice. If the planets line up London Grammar in my opinion could be bigger than a Adele and i don’t mean size.
