Britpop Guitarist DECAPITATED by Passing Truck
You might remember Northern Uproar, a band that peaked during the 90s when they toured with groups like the Charlatans and hung out with guys like Noel Gallagher.
On Monday, guitarist Jeffrey Fletcher leaned his head out the window of a car to check on traffic. That’s when a big truck whooshed by in the opposite direction, taking off Fletcher’s head. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and police are investigating. More information at The Daily Mail.
Here’s Northern Uproar from back in the day.
Horrible way to discover a (new to me) band. Their aesthetics remind me a lot of the Inspiral Carpets.
