Bruno Ganz, who played Hitler in Downfall and all those Hitler parodies, has died at 77.

Bruno Ganz, who became internationally famous for his portrayal of Adolf Hitler in the 2004 movie Downfall, has died at age 77. He was 77.

Cinema fans know him for is working in Wings of Desire, the 2004 reboot of The Manchurian Candidate and The Reader. But his greatest success come via Downfall–and, unexpectedly, all the Hitler parodies the memed their way around the Internet. For example:
