Can You Hear This In U2’s “Summer of Love”?

U2 fans are notorious for analyzing every square second of every song. With the release of Songs of Experience, that trend by fans continues unabated.

If you have a listen to “Summer of Love”, there’s a transition moment around the 2:09 mark. If you listen carefully, it kind of sounds like a mistake in the mix. Have a listen and tell me what you think.

Did you hear it? I did and others have as well. But is that truly a mistake? Is it just a weird transition? Did U2 mess it up? Or their mixers? Who do we call????

  • It could have been worse, they could have called it Summer of Love 209, Not that I’m mentioning the 269 mixes that went into Hawkmoon 269! LOL
